Festival Style Engagements on Rainey Street

Their story is a wild one.

Imagine, it’s 2017. She’s in New Orleans. He’s in San Diego. He sees her on “friends you may know” on Facebook. He slides in her DMs with a freestyle rap asking for a FaceTime date. Two weeks later he flies to meet her in person and even hangs out with her family and they knew it was the start of something special.

Their second date was at Envision music festival in Uvita de Osa, Costa Rica where they fell head over heels in love for each other.

She skipped her returning flight back home and went to California with him instead.

These two have been choosing to do things their own damn way since day one and it has been so refreshing to witness. We met up on Rainey Street in downtown Austin to take their engagement photos and it was no surprise they had the most amazing festival outfits.

Let this be your reminder that the root of a wedding can still carry the same meaning while also looking however you want it to. Celebrate who you are.
