Seattle Engagement Photos in the Fall

Jeremy and Kari live in Los Angeles, got married in Texas, but love Seattle in the fall. Seattle engagement photos only made sense. At the time they booked with me, fall was ending in 3 weeks and I had ONE open weekend. I had always wanted to see the PNW in the fall, so it was kismet.

Ferry Ride to Bainbridge Island

To kick off the Seattle engagement photos, we started the afternoon by hopping on the ferry to Bainbridge Island where trees of fiery red and orange leaves were promised to us. I really enjoyed the 45min ride. We used that time to get some really great shots both inside the boat and outside on the deck. 

Getting to Know the Couple

The weather was perfect on Bainbridge Island and the landscape did not disappoint. We walked to a coffee shop they love and continued to explore the island for a couple of hours. We took some photos but a lot of the time was used talking and getting to know each other. Understanding who you are, even if just a tiny glimpse, is so important to me and my process. 

Seattle Engagement Photos at the Kimpton Palladian 

When we returned to Seattle we went back to their hotel, the Kimpton Palladian, for an outfit change, cocktails and a more sultry vibe. It was the perfect way to wrap up their Seattle engagement photos.
